Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups (190g) all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp (37g) granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp (12g) baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp (3g) salt
  • 1.25 cups (300ml) milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tbsp (42g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl, creating a well in the center.
  2. Pour the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla into the well; whisk gently until just combined, leaving small lumps in the batter.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly wipe the surface with an oiled paper towel.
  4. Pour approximately 1/4 cup (60ml) of batter per pancake and cook until bubbles form on the surface and edges appear matte.
  5. Flip the pancake in one quick motion and cook for another 1–2 minutes until both sides are golden brown.
