Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups (190g) all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp (37g) granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp (12g) baking powder
- 0.5 tsp (3g) salt
- 1.25 cups (300ml) milk
- 1 large egg
- 3 tbsp (42g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl, creating a well in the center.
- Pour the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla into the well; whisk gently until just combined, leaving small lumps in the batter.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly wipe the surface with an oiled paper towel.
- Pour approximately 1/4 cup (60ml) of batter per pancake and cook until bubbles form on the surface and edges appear matte.
- Flip the pancake in one quick motion and cook for another 1–2 minutes until both sides are golden brown.
