Ingredients:
- 16 oz (450g) uncooked penne or rotini pasta
- 24 oz (680g) marinara or spaghetti sauce
- 2 cups (480ml) beef broth
- 1 tsp (5g) garlic powder
- 1 tsp (5g) dried Italian seasoning
- 24 oz (680g) frozen pre-cooked beef meatballs
- 2 cups (225g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp (8g) fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease your 9x13 inch baking dish with oil or cooking spray.
- Pour the uncooked pasta, marinara sauce, beef broth, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning into the pan.
- Stir the mixture well until the pasta is completely submerged. Note: Dry noodles on top will stay hard.
- Gently fold in the frozen meatballs. Arrange them so they are mostly in the sauce but a few peek through the top.
- Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil. Press the edges firmly to create a strong seal.
- Bake for 30 minutes until you smell the herbs and garlic.
- Remove the foil. Evenly spread the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the surface.
- Bake uncovered for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
